Комитет по развитию и интеллектуальной собственности (КРИС), учрежденный Генеральной Ассамблеей Всемирной организации интеллектуальной собственности (ВОИС) в октябре 2007 г., провел вторую сессию в период 7-11 июля 2008 г. и продвинул обсуждения по реализации Повестки дня ВОИС в области развития (Резюме Председателя). Сессия, в работе которой приняли участие 101 государство-член, 8 межправительственных организаций и 37 неправительственных организаций, провела подробные обсуждения по дальнейшей разработке программы работы по реализации рекомендаций, одобренных Генеральной Ассамблеей.
تستضيف المنظمة العالمية للملكية الفكرية (الويبو) في 26 أغسطس/آب 2008 ندوة في إطار برنامجها علوم الحياة تستعرض من خلالها حقوق الملكية الفكرية ودورها في تطوير التكنولوجيات ونقلها في سياق الاتفاقات متعددة الأطراف بشأن البيئة. ويحوي الكثير من هذه الاتفاقات أحكاماً بشأن نقل التكنولوجيا تثير حولها قضايا الملكية الفكرية. وستكون هذه التظاهرة فرصة لواضعي السياسات وغيرهم من أصحاب المصالح لكي يتشاطروا تجاربهم ويستكشفوا أبعاد الملكية الفكرية في أحكام نقل التكنولوجيا.
On August 26, 2008, the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) is organizing under its Life Sciences Program a Symposium that will explore intellectual property (IP) rights and their role in the development and transfer of technologies within the context of Multilateral Environmental Agreements (MEAs). Many MEAs contain technology transfer provisions around which IP issues arise. The event will provide an opportunity for policy makers and other stakeholders to share their experiences and to explore the IP dimensions of technology transfer provisions contained in MEAs.
En el marco de su programa sobre biociencias, la Organización Mundial de la Propiedad Intelectual (OMPI) organiza, el 26 de agosto, un simposio en el que se explorará el papel de los derechos de propiedad intelectual (P.I.) en el desarrollo y la transferencia de tecnología en el contexto de acuerdos multilaterales sobre medio ambiente; muchos de esos acuerdos contienen disposiciones sobre transferencia de tecnología que dan origen a cuestiones de P.I. El simposio dará a los encargados de la adopción de políticas y otras partes interesadas la oportunidad de compartir sus experiencias y explorar las dimensiones de P.I. de dichas disposiciones.
L'Organisation Mondiale de la Propriété Intellectuelle (OMPI) organise le 26 août 2008, au titre de son programme sur les sciences de la vie, un colloque qui portera sur les droits de propriété intellectuelle et leur rôle en matière de conception et de transfert de technologies dans le cadre des accords multilatéraux sur l'environnement. Nombre de ces accords contiennent des dispositions relatives au transfert de technologies, qui soulèvent des questions de propriété intellectuelle. Le colloque permettra aux décideurs et autres parties prenantes d'échanger leurs données d'expérience et d'examiner les aspects de propriété intellectuelle visés par les dispositions sur le transfert de technologies contenues dans les accords multilatéraux sur l'environnement.

Всемирная организация интеллектуальной собственности (ВОИС) организует в рамках Программы наук о жизни симпозиум, который рассмотрит права интеллектуальной собственности (ПИС) и их роль в развитии и передаче технологии в контексте многосторонних соглашений об окружающей среде (МЕАs). Многие MEAs содержат положения о передаче технологии, в связи с которым возникают вопросы ИС. Это мероприятие предоставит директивным органам и другим заинтересованным лицам возможность поделиться своим опытом и рассмотреть компоненты ИС в положениях о передаче технологии, содержащихся в МЕАs.
بحثت المنظمة العالمية للملكية الفكرية (الويبو) ومؤسسة الأبحاث الاقتصادية لقضايا حق المؤلف (سرسي) الأهمية الاقتصادية لحق المؤلف وشددتا على الحاجة إلى مواصلة الأبحاث بشأن دور حق المؤلف في الصناعات الإبداعية. وقد انعقد الاجتماع المشترك للويبو وسرسي في جنيف يومي 10 و11 يوليه/تموز 2008.
A meeting jointly organized by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and the Society for Economic Research on Copyright Issues (SERCI) in Geneva on 10 and 11 July, 2008 examined the economic importance of copyright and underlined the need for further research on the role of copyright in the creative industries.

The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in cooperation with the International Digital Preservation and Copyright initiative (IDPC) is organizing a one-day workshop on July 15, at WIPO's Geneva headquarters, to survey recent developments and trends at the intersection of digital preservation and copyright. The aim of the workshop is to contribute to the debate on how to develop and improve policies and practices that support the digital preservation of copyright-protected content.
En cooperación con la iniciativa International Digital Preservation and Copyright (IDPC), la Organización Mundial de la Propiedad Intelectual (OMPI) organiza en Ginebra un taller de un día de duración, que se realizará el 15 de julio en la Sede de la OMPI, para estudiar los acontecimientos y las tendencias recientes en la interrelación de la preservación digital con el derecho de autor. El objetivo de este taller es contribuir al debate acerca de cómo elaborar políticas y prácticas que respalden la preservación digital de contenido protegido por derecho de autor y mejorar las existentes.
L'Organisation Mondiale de la Propriété Intellectuelle (OMPI) organise le 15 juillet au siège de l'OMPI à Genève, en collaboration avec l'International Digital Preservation and Copyright initiative (IDPC), un atelier d'une journée sur l'évolution récente de la situation en matière de conservation des contenus numériques au regard du droit d'auteur et les tendances observées dans ce domaine. L'atelier vise essentiellement à contribuer au débat sur la question de savoir comment mettre en œuvre et améliorer les politiques et pratiques sous tendant la conservation numérique des contenus protégés par le droit d'auteur.

Цель практикума – содействие обсуждению того, каким образом следует разрабатывать и совершенствовать политику и практику сохранения цифрового контента, охраняемого авторским правом.
