Law No. 312 on Copyright and Neighboring Rights entered into force on the day of its publication in the Official Gazette No. 166 on August 31, 1999 (see Article 137 under Title VII of the said Law).
This Law on copyright was revised, re-edited and approved in February 2001 by the Director of the Intellectual Property Registry (RPI) and the Director of the National Office of Copyright and Related Rights. No amendments have been incorporated into this version of the Law.
