This consolidated text of Law No. 312 on Copyright and Neighboring Rights was prepared and approved by the National Assembly on June 25, 2020, in accordance with the Law of the Nicaraguan Legal Digest on Cultural Matters and was published in the Official Gazette No. 232 of December 16, 2020.
This consolidated text approved on June 25, 2020 takes into account amendments introduced by the following amending Laws:
1. Law No. 577 on Amendments and Additions to Law No. 312 of 1999 on Copyright and Related Rights, published in the Official Gazette No. 60 of March 24, 2006;
2. Law No. 641 (Criminal Code), published in the Official Gazette No. 83, 84, 85, 86 and 87 of May 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9, 2008; and
3. Law No. 902 (Civil Procedure Code), published in the Official Gazette No. 191 of October 9, 2015.
