'The Decree provides for amendments relating to trade-related infringements to include the following acts, where performed for the purpose of direct or indirect financial gain: the fixation, production, reproduction, storage, distribution, transport or marketing of copies of works, cinematographic and other audiovisual works, phonograms, videograms or books protected by copyright or related rights without the authorization of the respective owners, within the meaning of the Law.'

The Single Transitional Provision of the Decree states that the Decree comes into force on the day following its publication in the Official Gazette.
The Decree was published in the Official Gazette on January 13, 2016, and came into force on January 14, 2016.

DECRETO por el que se reforma la fracción III del artículo 231 de la Ley Federal del Derecho de Autor.

ENR1QUE PEÑA N1ETO, Presidente de los Estados Unidos Mexicanos, a sus habitantes sabed: Que el Honorable Congreso de la Unión, se ha servido dirigirme el siguiente

DECRETO

"EL CONGRESO GENERAL DE LOS ESTADOS UN1DOS MEX1CANOS, DECRETA:

SE REFORMA LA FRACC1ÓN 111 DEL ARTÍCULO 231 DE LA LEY FEDERAL DEL DERECHO DE AUTOR.

Artículo Único.- Se reforma la fracción 111 del artículo 231 de la Ley Federal del Derecho de Autor, para quedar como sigue:
Artículo 231.- Constituyen infracciones en materia de comercio las siguientes conductas cuando sean realizadas con fines de lucro directo o indirecto:
1. y 11. ...
111. Fijar, producir, reproducir, almacenar, distribuir, transportar o comercializar copias de obras, obras cinematográficas y demás obras audiovisuales, fonogramas, videogramas o libros, protegidos por los derechos de autor o por los derechos conexos, sin la autorización de los respectivo titulares en los términos de esta Ley;

Único. El presente Decreto entrará en vigor al día siguiente de su publicación en el Diario Oficial de la
Federación.
