Notes:
The United Kingdom Designs (Protection) Act of 1937, as amended in 1962 provides that UK design registration automatically extends to Uganda. There is no local registration requirement, and there is no provision in Uganda for independent design registration. Uganda law does not provide for any design registration mechanism, or any protection for unregistered designs.
