WIPO Patent Landscape Reports

WIPO has been mandated to prepare patent landscape reports in areas of particular interest to developing and least developed countries, such as public health, food security, climate change and environment.

We develop the scope of each report in cooperation with external partners (e.g. member states institutions, intergovernmental or non-governmental organizations), and select authors through a tendering process.

The following patent landscape reports are currently in preparation within the framework of the Development Agenda project "Developing Tools for Access to Patent Information" (document CDIP/4/6).
