WIPO GREEN is today holding a "scale-up" session at the 2014 Expo of the United Nations Organization for South-South Cooperation. In addition to the announcement of scale-up deals, a panel of WIPO GREEN partners will discuss the following questions:
- How can developing country companies become better connected to the global innovation system?
- How can public-private partnerships help improve the environment for the diffusion of green technology transfer while increasing employment opportunities?
- What are the most important factors behind a successful technology transfer and partnerships?
- What role does intellectual property playing the successful diffusion of green technology, particularly to developing countries?

WIPOs new Patent Register Portal
The portal aims to facilitate the verification of legal status of patents and related Supplementary Patent Certificates by compiling relevant information of national registers of various jurisdictions, e.g. availability of online access to a national or regional register.

Global Infrastructure Basel call for projects
Global Infrastructure Basel is offering infrastructure project promoters the opportunity to present their projects to potential investors at the 5th Global Infrastructure Basel Summit 2015. The Global Infrastructure Basel Investment Forum takes place at the Global Infrastructure Basel Summit in Basel. Additionally, all submitted projects will be uploaded to the GIB Project Finder database.
Cities, organizations and project promoters seeking finance are invited to submit their project applications.
