You can request a total (all goods and services in all designated members) or partial (some goods and services, in some designated members) change in ownership of an international trademark registration (asset), directly through your eMadrid workbench. Tip! You can appoint a new representative and add an address for correspondence at the same time.
You do not need to provide any supporting documents, but the new owner (total or partial) must be a national of – or have a business or domicile in – a Madrid System member [PDF].
You can request a total change in ownership for multiple assets so long as you are transferring them all to the same new holder. You need to request partial change in ownership for one asset at a time.
Authorization is required. Find out more.
