Promoting cultural heritage and developing creative industries in Algeria:
On May 28, 2024, the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and the National Copyright and Related Rights Office (ONDA) launched a joint initiative called Moubadar’Art . This initiative supports small and medium-sized enterprises and emerging Algerian startups in the cultural and creative industries sector by providing them with the necessary tools and knowledge to thrive in the national and global markets. Sixteen project leaders selected from across the country will receive tailored support to optimize strategic use of intellectual property in their businesses.
