Notes
The Customs Office is the national administrative body that has exclusive competence in fulfilling the following tasks:
a) Check and control the various customs operations, loading, unloading and delivery of goods, issue compulsory classification criteria for the implementation of the tariff nomenclature for raising taxes, and dismiss, without prejudice to other powers, the respective data to achieve Statistics of foreign trade
b) To enforce the treaty obligations arising from international treaties signed by the country in customs matters
c) To exercise, with the means of surveillance, the prevention and repression and the control of entry, exit, transit and storage of goods in its territory, in order to prevent and punish the customs offenses.
