The Trade Marks Rules 2013 makes amendments to item 35 of the First Schedule and to the spelling of words describing goods and services in the Third Schedule of the Trademark Rules (Revised Edition 2008). Item 35 of the First Schedule is amended to clarify that the fee payable for the issuance of a certificate under section 103 of the Trade Marks Act is computed on a 'per certificate' basis. The changes in the spelling of items in Classes 2, 14, 29, 30 and 37 of the Third Schedule are amended to reflect the changes to the Class headings and items introduced by the Nice Classification, 10th edition, version 2014 (NCL(10-2014)).
