Notes:The Consumer Protection Act provides for, inter alia, the labeling requirements (Section 2(g), and the consumer protection from unfair trade practices (Section 2(h)).
Section 8(b) prohibits imitation of consumer goods in such manner as to mislead consumers.
Section 9 sets out the mandatory details to be mentioned on the labels of consumer goods.
