Berne Convention for the Protection of Literary and Artistic Works
Notification by the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia: Withdrawal of Declaration Concerning Article 30(2)(a) of the Paris Act (1971)
The Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) presents his compliments to the Minister for Foreign Affairs and has the honor to notify him of the receipt, on August 8, 1997, of a notification of the Government of the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia withdrawing the declaration made under Article 30(2)(a) of the Berne Convention for the Protection of Literary and Artistic Works of September 9, 1886, as revised at Paris on July 24, 1971, concerning the retention of the benefit of the reservation previously formulated in regard to Article 8 of the said Berne Convention as revised at Brussels on June 26, 1948 (see Berne Notifications No. 75 of June 2, 1975, and No. 149 of July 26, 1993).
