Creators and creative entrepreneurs, including women and youth, Indigenous Peoples and Local Communities, creative small and medium enterprises, other actors related to the creative industries, and government officials.
Participating countries
Cook Islands, Fiji, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, Nauru, Niue, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu and Vanuatu.
DRIVE – Creative Industries, the driving force of the Pacific – Project on Copyright Traditional Knowledge and Traditional Cultural Expressions for Pacific Countries
This Roundtable is being organized under the framework of DRIVE – Creative Industries, the Driving Force of the Pacific – Project on Copyright, Traditional Knowledge and Traditional Cultural Expressions for Pacific Countries. The Project will be implemented in phases.
Phase 1 consists of three roundtables on the following topics:
- Arts festivals, copyright, traditional knowledge (TK), and traditional cultural expressions (TCEs) on April 18, 2023;
- Music, copyright, TK, and TCEs; and
- Fashion, copyright, TK, and TCEs.
