Now, as a worldwide economic shock aggravates the toll of a global pandemic, the GII 2020 also investigates the pressing need for new methods of innovation funding in a post-COVID world.

In the 13th edition of its world-renowned ranking, the GII 2020 uses 80 indicators to rank the innovation capacity and performance of 131 economies around the globe.
