The request for the training program was initiated by the Technology Transfer Office of the University of Maribor, with the objective to introduce the issue of IP valuation to technology managers in Slovenia and to enhance their capacity to use it as an IPR management tool in the universities and publically funded research institutions. Proposal was endorsed by Slovenian IP Office and WIPO was requested to develop a customized training program for technology managers in Slovenia.
