Name: Zack Organization: Desktop Darkroom Position: Webmaster Under what authority do you operate to order individuals to transfer domains? Are these 'cases' handled in a court of law in the United States? I strongly disagree with the broad basis these new policies attempt to operate under. It is not fair to the world public, nor justly constitutional. I beg you to reconsider and redraft. Looking at past 'cases', your findings and orders were completely and wholly unjust, ruling in favor of the plaintiff, many who did not even have trademarks or copyrights. A domain name is NOT a trademarked name (unless a trademark is filed). www.insertnamehere.com is a complete iteration. That which exists between www and com, org, and net cannot be considered infringing on other's rights, regardless of what is stated. Once again, a domain can NOT be seperated as different parts or phrases to be ridiculed by the law. It is a complete iteration. Thank You. |
