The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) Arbitration and Mediation Center in collaboration with the Bluetech Clean Air Alliance (BCAA) is pleased to present a panel consisting of representatives from Beijing SDL Technology, Carbon Trust China and Shanghai Technology Exchange and technology-transfer practitioner from Zhong Lun Law Firm, who will discuss the key issues that arise when dealing with disputes relating to international transfer of green technology and know-how between Chinese companies and international collaborators.
In September 2020, China made a new climate commitment of reaching carbon neutrality by 2060, which will generate a market of over 120 trillion RMB in the power sector alone up to 2050. How to find a good way to better settle the IP related disputes may significantly accelerate the paces of international green technology transfer, as well as China's progress on low carbon development.
