The notification by Liechtenstein to the WTO under article 63.2 of TRIPS states:
'The Ordinance is intended to clarify and amend the intellectual property laws, where required by the provisions of the TRIPS Agreement (mainly Copyright and Layout-Designs).
Articles 2-14 refer to the protection of computer programs and other related rights, etc.
Articles 15-18 refer to the acquisition and protection of topographies.
In matters of patent law the Principality of Liechtenstein and Switzerland are a common territory of protection.'
