Amendment N° 1 to the Request for Proposals (RFP) N° PCD/07/049 and Consolidated List of Bidders' Questions and WIPO's Answers

In reference to the above-mentioned RFP published on the WIPO Procurement Website “ https://www.wipo.int/procurement/en/notices.html” on July 30, 2007, we hereby inform you that WIPO has issued the following.

1.       Amendment N° 1:

        (a)      Paragraph 20 of the letter of invitation is deleted in its entirety and replaced by the following:

“ 20. WIPO estimates a total workload of 120 days per year of which approximately 6 days per year will be off-site. However, WIPO does not guarantee that this estimate will be met nor that it will be exceeded. The estimate is made solely to assist invited firms to make their financial offer.”

         (b)      In accordance with paragraph 28 of the letter of invitation, you are informed that WIPO has decided that in the event a company is ranked first on both tenders, namely PCD/07/049 and PCD/07/050, WIPO will award contract N° PCD/07/050 to said company. Consequently, the company that has been awarded contract N° PCD/07/050 will become non-eligible for the award of contract N° PCD/07/049. The latter will then be awarded to the company that has submitted the second best ranked offer in response to RFP N° PCD/07/049.

         (c)      All other RFP terms and conditions remain unchanged.

2.      A consolidated list of all questions received, together with WIPO answers, is attached.  [ PDF] [ DOC]

3.      Bidders are informed that, due to the very tight schedule, WIPO is not in a position to extend the deadline for the submission of a proposal (i.e. Monday, September 10, 2007).
