December 7, 2015
International experts on innovation, intellectual property and access to medicines recently discussed the relationship between patent systems and the availability of medicines in developing and least-developed countries.
The four speakers, joined by a moderator from the World Health Organization, each made presentations during a panel discussion before engaging in a question-and-answer session with delegates and observers attending a session of WIPO’s Standing Committee on the Law of Patents.
