The Conference that has gathered some 400 participants, assessed developments and challenges raised in recent years by technological developments and digital market trends, rights management information systems and competition issues. It looked at the future of collective management in the ever-expanding digital environment, as well as improvements in the exercise and management of rights introduced by collective management organizations world wide and in particular in Europe.
The Conference permitted a constructive exchange between key players from collective management organizations, lawyers, academia, stakeholders from intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations, developers of digital technology and services and creative industries.
