All domain names should be administered on a first come, first served basis. No domain names should be reserved or forcibly taken from one person and given to another.
This is all because of the very simple fact that multiple people can make valid claims on the same name. It would be unfair for the domain name administrators to choose for themselves who gets the name.
Intellectual property, such as company names, is nice and all, but it is no excuse to take domain names away from other people who happen to want to claim the same name.
First come, first served is the ONLY valid way to give out the names.
Thank you.
