Name: Bill Davis Organization: Lockheed Martin Position: Software Engineer I feel there should be a couple new domains added to the list of .com, .org, .gov, and .net. There should be .per and .bus. The ".per" would only be allowed to be purchased for personal web pages. That way people who have the same name as a company, they both could have the domain name they want. The other one ".bus" would only be allowed to be registered by businesses. In order to register a .bus domain address, you would have to show proof of being a business. It would also stop people from purchasing large amounts of domain names in hopes of maybe someday starting a business or getting rich by selling the domain name to another business. By seperating the two different types of web pages and requiring proof of business, this would cut down on the confusion with domain names. Bill Davis |
