Kevin NACHTRAB is a Senior IP Attorney for Johnson & Johnson. He also serves as a Vice-President of the Licensing Executives Society International (LESI), a member of the Board of Trustees of the African Agricultural Technology Foundation (AATF), a member of the Board of Governors of the Certified Licensing Professionals, Inc., and a member of the Expert Group of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) Center for Arbitration and Mediation. A Registered Patent Attorney and a Certified Licensing Professional (CLP), Kevin is also a member of the Bars of the State of Maryland (U.S.A.), the United States District Court for the State of Maryland, the United States Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit, the United States Tax Court and the United States Bankruptcy Court. Based at J&J’s EMEA headquarters in Brussels, where he specializes in Intellectual Asset Management and IP litigation and licensing in the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors, Kevin has extensive experience in practice before both the European and United States Patent Offices, as well as in technology transactional matters and litigation on an international level. Kevin is a graduate of Western Maryland University where he studied Chemistry, Biology and Political Science and the School of Law of the University of Baltimore. Previously, he has served as the Director of Licensing & Technology for Innogenetics N.V. (2000-2006), Global Head of the Chemical & Life Sciences Patent Units of Solvay S.A. (1993-1999) and Resident Managing Attorney of the Brussels, Belgium office of the Law offices of Leonard Bloom (1987-1993). |
