Additional Advance Payments

Depending on the circumstances of the case, additional advance payments may be required to be made. In determining whether additional advance payments shall be required, the DRSP, in consultation with the Panel, may consider the following non-exclusive factors: the number of Applications and/or Objections to the TLD, the number of parties, the complexity of the dispute, the anticipated time required for rendering an Expert Determination, and the possible need for hearings, phone or video conferences, or additional pleading rounds.

Payments may be made by any of the following means only:

i) Bank transfer:

WIPO / OMPI
UBS SWITZERLAND AG (FORMERLY CREDIT SUISSE), ZURICH, SWITZERLAND
IBAN CH68 0483 5063 0397 8200 0; Swift Code: CRESCHZZ80A

(When making a bank transfer, please indicate the purpose of the payment, including the case reference if available, the name of the TLD, and the names of the parties to the administrative proceeding.)

(ii) Check:

Beneficiary: World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) Arbitration and Mediation Center
34, chemin des Colombettes

(When mailing a check, please indicate the purpose of the payment, including the case reference if available, the name of the TLD, and the names of the parties to the administrative proceeding.)

(iii) Deduction from WIPO current account

(iv) Credit card (Visa, MasterCard):

(Payment by credit card should be made using the WIPO Center's secure LRO online payment facility.

Please note that credit card payments are subject to a processing fee imposed by the credit card companies themselves. In order to offset these charges, and to ensure party compliance with the published LRO schedule of fees, please add a 3% service charge to any amount due under the LRO procedure. In case of any doubt as to the total amount owed, please contact the WIPO Center in advance. As an example, in the event of payment by credit card of a filing fee scheduled to be in the amount of USD10,000, the total amount payable where a credit card is used would be USD10,300, which should be made as a single payment.

For payment-related queries or difficulties, please call (+41 22) 338 8247 or 0800 888 549.)

Payments in cash will not be accepted.

All bank charges, transfer fees or other amounts that may be levied in connection with a payment made to, or refund initiated by the Center shall be the responsibility of the party making the payment, or receiving any refund.
