The consolidated Part Four of the Civil Code takes into account amendments up to “Federal Law No. 422-FZ of December 8, 2011, on Amendments to Certain Laws of the Russian Federation Following the Establishment of the Court for Intellectual Property Rights in the System of Russian Arbitration Courts' (see Part Four, Chapter 76, section 2, Article 1486, paragraph 1 of the consolidated version for the amendments). Part Four of this consolidated Code, which consists of 9 chapters (69-77) and 326 articles (1225-1551), contains specific provisions on intellectual property. It codifies rules and principles governing intellectual property and provides legal regime for the protection of intellectual property rights. Part One and Part Two contain, inter alia, the following general provisions on intellectual property: - Part One, Chapter 1, Article 2; Chapter 2, Article 8; Chapter 3, Articles 18 and 26; Chapter 4, Articles 64; Chapter 6, Articles 128 and 129; Chapter 16, Article 256; - Part Two, Chapter 38, Articles 769, 772 & 773; Chapter 45, Article 855; Chapter 54, Article 1028. This consolidated version of the Civil Code takes into account amendments up to "Federal Law No. 405-FZ of December 6, 2011, on Amendments to Certain Laws of the Russian Federation Relating to the Improvement of the Procedure for Foreclosuring on Pledged Property", which was published in the Official Internet portal of legal information (Collection of the legislation of the Russian Federation) and entered into force 90 days after the day of its official publication, with the exception of Article 7 of this Federal Law. The said amending Federal Law No. 405-FZ added paragraph 4 to Article 348 under § 3 "The Pledge", Chapter 23, Subsection 1, Section III, Part One of this consolidated version of the Civil Code.
