This Conference brought together speakers from IGOs, NGOs, academia and the private sector to share their insights on the potential of innovative green technologies in contributing to sustainable development; the role that IP (patents, trademarks, etc.) can play in this field; and the challenges faced, particularly by developing countries, in fostering, accessing and using green innovations.

The event was organized in the context of the WIPO Development Agenda and WIPO’s Committee on Development and Intellectual Property (CDIP)
