New Online Seminar on the Practical Aspects of the Madrid System for Advanced Users
May 25, 2021
The seminar on the practical aspects of the Madrid System for advanced users is back, this time virtually, and will take place on June 15 and 16, 2021.
Registration is now open for two half-days of in-depth training on the Madrid System. This new session is aimed at offering an online option of the practical seminar and to meet the training needs of advanced users.
What to expect
Similarly to past editions, this highly popular and hands-on masterclass will focus on a wide range of Madrid System processes and procedures, such as filing an international application and managing registrations. It also serves as a useful platform for participants to exchange knowledge and ideas. Furthermore, it provides a forum for feedback that will help us in our continuous improvement and enhancement of the System for our fast-expanding user base.
WIPO experts and special guest speakers from the IP Offices of China and of the United States of America, as well as from the private sector, will present and moderate interactive sessions on selected topics, including tips for filing and examination procedures for the international application, examination and refusal procedures before IP Offices and post-management procedures under the Madrid System. Each session will be based on detailed case studies analysis and group discussions on specific procedures and issues.
Participants will receive a WIPO Certificate upon completion of the seminar.

The seminar will be held in English.
