The Criminal Law of UNTAC was made in 1992 for the transitional period of Cambodia under UN administration when there was on going civil war. The UNTAC Criminal Law has been considered the Cambodian Transitional Criminal Law.
Criminal IP Rights Enforcement are entrusted to Police authorities and competent courts and jurisdiction (including appeal).

Title V : Misdemeanors, Article 44 (offenses concerning cultural property belonging to the Cambodian national heritage), Article 47 (counterfeit trademarks), Article 48 (violation of Copyright), Article 59 (wrongful damage to cultural property belonging to the Cambodian national heritage, covered by Art.44).
The Cambodia's new Penal Law, which entered in to force on 10 December 2010 replaces this 1992 law introduced by the United Nations.
