Year of Version 2008 Dates Status as of: August 1, 2008 Entry into force: January 1, 1955 Adopted: March 25, 1954 Type of Text IP-related Laws   Subject Matter Industrial Designs, Trademarks, Trade Names Subject Matter (secondary) Enforcement of IP and Related Laws Notes The emblem of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is protected as a trademark by the Geneva Conventions and its Additional Protocols. The High Contracting Parties need to ensure that there is no misuses of the emblem during both peace times and armed conflicts.
