Year of Version 2010 Dates Entry into force: November 21, 1975 Promulgated: December 31, 1962 Type of Text IP-related Laws   Subject Matter Patents (Inventions), Utility Models, Industrial Property Subject Matter (secondary) Enforcement of IP and Related Laws, IP Regulatory Body Notes The notification by Italy to the WTO under article 63.2 of TRIPS states:
'This Law concerns the obligation for UIBM (Italian Patents and Trademarks Office) to communicate applications for utility models the contents of which are specifically of nuclear nature to ENEA (National Alternative Energy Agency) and the possibility for the latter of obtaining non-exclusive licences to use such models for reasons of public interest.'
