Year of Version 2021 Dates Amended up to: August 10, 2021 Entry into force: June 1, 2004 Promulgated: October 25, 1994 Type of Text Main IP Laws Subject Matter Trademarks, Geographical Indications, Trade Names Notes This consolidated version of the Trademark Act takes into account amendments up to the "Second Act of August 10, 2021, on Simplification and Modernization of the Patent Act", which was published on August 17, 2021, in the Federal Law Gazette I p. 3436 and entered into force on August 18, 2021. Section 5 of the said Second Act of August 10, 2021 introduced amendments to § 33 , § 47, § 55, § 62, § 65 and § 143a of this consolidated version of the Trademark Act.
