Year of Version 2010 Dates Adopted: August 24, 1977 Type of Text Main IP Laws Subject Matter Enforcement of IP and Related Laws, IP Regulatory Body Notes Section 1 of the Law states: The Patent Appeals Court examines the administrative appeals against decisions of the Patent and Trademark Office as provided in the Patents Act (1967:837) and its regulations, the Registered Designs Act (1970:485), the Trade Marks Act (2010:1877), the Trade Names Act (1982:670), and the Act (1991:1559) of Regulations in the Areas of the Freedom of the Press Act and the Freedom of Expression Act. Furthermore, it examines patent appeals against decisions of the Board of Agriculture as provided for in the Plant Variety Rights Act (1997:306).
