The Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) presents his compliments to the Minister for Foreign Affairs and has the honor to notify him of the deposit by the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, on November 29, 1990, of its instrument of accession to the Paris Convention for the Protection of Industrial Property of March 20, 1883, as revised at Stockholm on July 14, 1967, and amended on October 2, 1979.

Furthermore, the said instrument of accession contains the following declaration: "Pursuant to Article 28(2) of the said Convention, the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh declares that it does not consider itself bound by the provisions of paragraph 1 of Article 28 of the said Convention."
