The Law Establishing the National Institute of Fine Arts and Literaturee was first published in the Official Journal of the Federation on December 31, 1946.
This revised version of the Law, which incorporates all amendments up to November 12, 1950, was republished in the Official Gazette on November 12, 1950 (see Paragraph III of Article 4 of the Law for the last amendments in this version).
Amongst the main purposes of this law are: to foster, promote, encourage, creation and research of fine art in the fields of music, visual arts, drama and dance, fine writing in all genres and architecture.
