The notification by the Philippines to the WTO under article 63.2 of TRIPS states:
'This Order creates under the Office of the President the IAC-IPR composed of the different government agencies responsible for the protection of intellectual property rights; and aims to have close co-ordination and concerted efforts in the enforcement of intellectual property rights.'
