Details Details Year of Version 2025 Dates Entry into force: August 3, 2025 Signature: July 23, 2025 Type of Text Main IP Laws Subject Matter Patents (Inventions) Notes Federal Law No. 235-FZ signed on July 23, 2025, amends Article 1350 of Part Four of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation. This amendment, effective from August 3, 2025, extends the grace period for filing a patent application after the public disclosure of an invention. The Law lengthens the allowable time from six months to twelve months for filing a patent application following public disclosure of the invention.
