This consolidated version of the Patents Act 1977 (Chapter 37) takes into account amendments up to the Health and Social Care Act 2001 (Chapter 15), which entered into force on different dates.
Paragraph 4 of Schedule 5 of the said amending Act 2001 inserted wordings to section 56(4)(a)(iii), which entered into force on July 1, 2002.
This consolidated version was updated up to March 27, 2014 (see the list "Changes to legislation" at the end of the said consolidated version).
