Notes The Consolidate Act on Copyright (Consolidate Act No. 1144 of October 23, 2014) takes into account amendments up to 'Act on Amendments to Copyright Act (Act No. 741 of June 25, 2014)', which entered into force on October 29, 2014.
The said amending Act No. 741 of June 25, 2014 introduced amendments to the following provisions of this Consolidate Act:
- Footnote 1);
- Chapter 2, section 11, paragraphs (1) to (3) where the words 'and chapter 6b' were added after the words 'chapter'; section 35 where paragraphs (4) to (7) were added; section 47, paragraph (2) amended;
- Chapter 5, section 66, paragraph (2) where the words '31, 34, 39-47' were replaced by the words '31 and 34, § 35 (2). 4 and 5, §§ 39-47'; section 67, paragraph (2) where the words '31, 34, 39-47' were replaced by the words '32 and 34, section 35(4) and (5), sections 39-47';
- Chapter 6b was added.

The notification by Denmark to the WTO under Article 63.2 of TRIPS states:
'The Consolidat Act on Copyright with recent amendments implementing the EU directives 2011/77/EU (Term of protection) and 2012/28/EU (Orphan works).
The Act regulates copyright protection in general and is the only regulatory framework in Denmark on copyright.'
