The objectives of these events are:
• Raising awareness of the PCT system;
• Helping nationals and/or residents from CACEEC (Central Asian, Caucasian, and Eastern European countries) and Russian-speaking applicants to stay abreast of advantages of procedural safeguards to ensure that available tools of the PCT are cleverly used;
• Informing participants about the main requirements for nucleotide and/or amino acid sequence listings and WIPO Standard ST.26;
• Informing participants about validating and generating sequence listings.
