WIPO Launches 2025 PCT User Satisfaction Survey

WIPO recently released the 2025-2026 edition of its online PCT User Satisfaction Survey as part of ongoing efforts to ensure the PCT System continues to meet the evolving needs of its users around the world.

Conducted every two years, the PCT User Satisfaction Survey provides an opportunity for users to share their perspectives on the quality, accessibility and efficiency of the PCT System. Insights collected will directly inform future enhancements, including digital tools and resources, operational procedures and overall customer support.

WIPO User Satisfaction Surveys: a results-based approach

During the 2025–2026 period, WIPO will deploy a series of targeted user satisfaction surveys covering its three IP service areas: the PCT System, the Hague System for the International Registration of Industrial Designs, and the Madrid System for the International Registration of Marks. These surveys are a key component of WIPO’s commitment to continuous improvement of its intellectual property (IP) services and reflect the organization’s user-driven approach to service development.

The surveys are sent to users of WIPO services (or users who have contacted WIPO about its services) and are administered by the independent research organization BERENT, a full-service provider specializing in consumer and business behaviour around the world.

A selected sample of users will receive invitations by email and are encouraged to respond candidly. All feedback is confidential and will be used exclusively to improve service delivery and user experience.

Privacy statement

WIPO thanks all participants for contributing their valuable time and expertise to the 2025-2026 User Satisfaction Surveys. Their input plays a central role in shaping a stronger, more user-focused international IP system.
