This consolidated version of the Criminal Code incorporates all the amendments up to Law No. 12.234 of May 5, 2010, which entered into force on May 6, 2010, on the same day of its publication in the Official Gazette.
For the amendments introduced by the said Law No. 12.234, see Article 109 (paragraph VI amended), and Article 110 (paragraph §2o repealed) under Title VIII, General Part of this consolidated version. These amendments do not relate to IP matters.
Articles 184, 185 and 186 under Chapter I, Title III, Special Part of this consolidated version of the Criminal Code refer to the infringement of copyright and related rights.
