Year of Version 2007 Dates Entry into force: January 22, 2007 Issued: December 22, 2006 Type of Text Implementing Rules/Regulations Subject Matter Copyright and Related Rights (Neighboring Rights), Enforcement of IP and Related Laws Notes Decree No. 4540 of December 22, 2006, on the Adoption of Customs Control Measures for Protection of Intellectual Property empowers the customs authority to intervene in respect of allegedly pirated or counterfeit trademark goods linked to an import, export, or transit operation. This Decree will be effective from the month following its date of publication and repeals any contrary provisions, in accordance with its Article 12.
