Year of Version 2007 Dates Entry into force: May 31, 2007 Promulgated: May 31, 2007 Published: May 31, 2007 Type of Text Main IP Laws   Subject Matter Layout Designs of Integrated Circuits Subject Matter (secondary) Enforcement of IP and Related Laws, IP Regulatory Body, Undisclosed Information (Trade Secrets), Competition Notes This Law provides for incentives to the industries of equipments for digital TV and semiconductor electronic components, and for protection of intellectual property of integrated-circuit topographies; establishes the Program for Support to Technology Development of the Semiconductors Industry (PADIS) and the Program for Support to Technology Development of the Digital TV Equipment Industry (PATVD); amends Law No. 8.666 of June 21, 1993; and repeals Art. 26 of Law No. 11.196 of November 21, 2005.
