Year of Version 2000 Dates Entry into force: October 17, 2000 Adopted: October 10, 2000 Type of Text Implementing Rules/Regulations Subject Matter IP Regulatory Body, Industrial Property Notes This Dispatch of the Chief Executive is issued pursuant to Articles 6(4) & 23(1) of the Industrial Property Code (“Legal Regime of Industrial Property” approved by Decree-Law No. 97/99/M of December 13, 1999), relating to the application forms and models of registration certificates for industrial property rights.
This Dispatch contains Annex I to XXXVII relating to application forms and registration certificates for different types of industrial property rights, including inventions (Annexes IV-V, XX, XXX), utility models (Annexes XVI-XVII, XXXVII), layout-designs (topographies) of integrated circuits (Annexes XIV-XV, XXXVI), industrial designs and models (Annexes II-III, XI-XII, XVIII-XIX, XXVI, XXIX), trademarks (Annexes VI-VII, XXI, XXXI-XXXII), medicines and phyto-pharmaceutical products (Annexes VIII, XXII), names and emblems of establishments (Annexes IX, XXIII, XXXIII), designation of origins and geographical indications (Annexes X, XXIV, XXXIV), rewards (Annexes XIII, XXVII, XXXV).

This Dispatch came into force the day following its publication and its effective date shall be retroactive to the date of entry into force of the Industrial Property Code, approved by Decree-Law No. 97/99/M.
