Notes The notification by Australia to the WTO under article 63.2 of TRIPS states: 'The Regulations amend the Copyright Tribunal (Procedure) Regulations to provide regulations for the new applications to the Copyright Tribunal introduced by the Digital Agenda Act, and to reflect other changes to the Copyright Act made by the Digital Agenda Act. The Copyright Amendment Regulations amend the Copyright Regulations by: • amending existing regulations under the educational statutory licences in Parts VA and VB of the Copyright Act to reflect the extension of the licences to electronic copying and communication; • introducing new regulations in relation to new schemes for electronic use in the educational statutory licences in Parts VA and VB, introduced by the Digital Agenda Act; • providing new regulations relating to the new Part VC statutory licence introduced by the Digital Agenda Act for the retransmission of free-to-air broadcasts; • amending existing prescribed notices under the Copyright Act to take into account the Digital Agenda reforms, and providing new forms of notice as required by the Digital Agenda Act; • introducing new regulations to provide detail to support the operation of new simulcasting exceptions introduced by the Digital Agenda Act.'
