Year of Version 2015 Dates Entry into force: January 22, 2011 Adopted: October 24, 2010 Type of Text Implementing Rules/Regulations Subject Matter Copyright and Related Rights (Neighboring Rights), IP Regulatory Body Notes Order No. 279 is issued in accordance with paragraph 4 of Article 9 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 6-I of June 10, 1996, on Copyright and Related Rights.
The notification by Kazakhstan to the WTO under article 63.2 of TRIPS states:
'[The Order] approves the Rules of submission, acceptance and storage of manuscripts of unpublished works.'

The Order incorporates the amendments to the annexed Rules made by Order of the Minister of Justice No. 158 of March 17, 2015, which came into force on September 14, 2015 (see Chapter 1, paragraph 2; and Annexes 1 & 2 of the Rules for the amendments).
