Notes:	This Decree was made pursuant to Article 17 of the repealed Law No. 5.988 of December 14, 1973 on Authorship Rights. It gives new power to the National Copyright Council (CNDA), which was later abolished in 1998 by the Law No. 9.610 of February 19, 1998 on Copyright and Neighboring Rights. The Ministry of Culture (MinC) is currently responsible for copyright matters in Brazil.
