The notification by Argentina to the WTO under article 63.2 of TRIPS states:
'This Law No. 24.481 as amended by Law No. 24.572 constitutes Annex I of Decree No. 260/96 of March 20, 1996. Annex II of the said Decree contains the Regulations under the Law. Annex III contains the Table of Fees on Trademarks.'
Title VII, Article 90 of the Law establishes that the National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI) is created as a self-governing body with legal personality and its own assets, which shall operate within the scope of the Ministry of Economy and Public Works. It further defines the structure of the Institute and its duties.
